Lovely for babies to listen to; three-year-olds like to "read" along with the adult while they count and wiggle their own fingers and toes. By Mem Fox. Illustrated by Helen Oxenbury. Padded board book, 40 pages. Ages 1 - 3.

Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes A first counting book
Rhyming books appeal to little children's sense of rhythm, and help reinforce learning, plus this illustrator is a favorite of mine.

Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes A first counting book
Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes" is a delightful and practical first board book for baby that is hard to find (it's popular). Montessori Services was the only retailer that had it in stock. This is the "padded" medium sized board book edition, so it should hold up doubly well for years to come. The item arrived in brand new/ mint condition, nicely packaged, and quickly. I will enjoy giving this book to my soon-to-be first granddaughter and her parents. As a grandmother, I'm sure we'll enjoy many hours of reading the book's sweet prose and looking at its adorable and inclusive pictures of babies of all ethnicities. Thank you! A+

Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes A first counting book
I have bought 3 of these books as gifts. It is a beautifully illustrated story of babies/toddlers all around the world. They all have a lot in common, and they are all loved. This is my choice for story time quite often.
