Dear Montessorime, I'm so sorry that these mats were not what you expected. Several years ago we did carry a Bamboo Table Mat but it was discontinued by the manufacturer. This is a smaller sushi mat. We were very careful not describe this as a table or placemat in our copy but we will see if there is a better way that we can describe or photograph it to help avoid this issue in the future.
