Objects are selected for the kind of word they represent: 3- and 4-letter phonetic words, 2-syllable phonetic words, words with phonogram sounds, or for the beginning sound of the word they represent.
This metal "sled" has wooden details and is 2" long. It comes with a gold string (for handing it as an ornament) that can be removed. Ages 3+.
