I bought a few of these to use for woodworking equipment (golf tees and wooden shapes) as well as language materials (small laminated images of objects). They are a nice size for 3-year old students, but my younger student (15 mos.) has a hard time closing the lid and I am worried he may break it someday when trying to force the lid back on as the plastic is a bit thin.
These boxes are very hard to find and so handy. I use them for our Science Center, putting all kinds of materials in them. The children can look, explore various insects, insect homes, rocks, minerals, etc. I have placed all kinds of things I found at the ocean in them. The boxes help preserve the objects.
