Color Mixing Activity

I purchased this for my 2.5 year old. She’s very into art and we’ve been working on color mixing with watercolor paints. This seemed like a great option to build upon those lessons and it was a huge hit! She uses it daily for over 30 minutes at a time!

this is for our 3 to 6 children for simple science exercises. We were disappointed that the set had items replaced in it that were not as advertised in the catalog.

This activity was so fun to introduce to the children in my classroom. The children really enjoyed mixing the colors and experimenting with the work. It was a big hit, with children waiting for it to be available to use. I love how everything that you need comes in this complete set. You don't have to purchase any extra items for the work, it is all there for you, all you have to do is set it up.

This is my son's favorite work. He loves the visual proof of the mixing of the colors as well as the chance to practice using the droppers. A great activity for kids 3+, this is a good work for use at home. This set makes for quick set up of a new work and all the pieces of this activity are great quality. I recommend having a piece of paper and crayons nearby so the kids can color in circles for each (ie red + yellow = orange).

This activity was new and introduced in the classroom in the dark days of January. It was still an activty being enjoyed in May. Children discovered and others re-discovered it. I would get ready to put it away and a child would choose it who had never shown interest before and suddenly it was a "hot" item again. I would have given it 5 stars but I needed to add a mat inside the tray to keep items from moving around when carrying and also needed to add something to help keep the bottles upright at all times. My children loved it.
