Developed by Montessorians Sanford Jones (founding president of NAMTA and former Executive Director of AMI/USA) and Judy Jones (movement education consultant and teacher), this CD provides 50 minutes of piano music performed by Sanford Jones.
The walking music is followed by tracks that isolate the essence of each locomotor movement in sequence; marching, running, galloping, skipping, and processional walking. 12 tracks in all.

I use Walking on the Line each day in my Montessori classroom. The music provides a calming transition between busy morning activities and lunch, allowing children to become centered and focused. I like the pace of this recording.
