Individual language objects, like "rug" can be used for a variety of language and sound games.
Objects are selected for the kind of word they represent: 3- and 4-letter phonetic words, 2-syllable phonetic words, words with phonogram sounds, or for the beginning sound of the word they represent.
The "rug" is made of yarn and is 4" x 2¾". Assorted colors. Ages 3+. (The manufacturer lists ages 14+ on the packaging because this item was not designed for children.)
