I had purchased this product some 15+ years ago for my daughter - a toddler at the time. We have used it steadily. Recently she moved out and took the item with her. So, I purchased another for myself. The old one still works perfectly and is in identical shape to the the new one. We are absolutely pleased with it and I expect the new one to work as effectively and as long as the first one has.
I had been combing the internet looking for a dish brush that was not made of plastic. When it wears out I want to throw away my dish brush without adding non-biodegradeable materials to the landfill. This little brush is made of coir fibers, some type of twisted metal and wood. No plastic. Anywhere. It does an awesome job on my iron skillet, my dishes and glassware too. Thank you, Down to Earth who makes this brush and thank you to Montessori Services for selling their product. Down to Earth also makes a bottle/jar brush that comes in very handy for cleaning out my stainless steel Kleen Kanteen water bottle.
