I bought this pitcher for use on the tables during our meal times. We all had a lesson and I am amazed with the ease of use of the pitcher. The shape is perfect and the weight is not too much for small hands to carry and even pour with. The spout does not spill and several children can pour water into their glasses before it need refilling.
The size and proportions of this pitcher make it an ideal item for your handwashing lesson. It allows a young child to successfully handle a "real" porcelain pitcher leading to a wounderful sense of accomplishment!
This is the perfect size for my preschooler to pour her own cups of juice or water - not too big and not too small. It seems sturdy as well (not overly fragile considering it is a glass pitcher).
The pitcher is perfect for school or for the household with children. It has a comfortably-large handle, and it is stable, pours without dripping, very sturdy, and very pleasing to look at. The 14-ounce size is particularly useful: not so large as to be too heavy for small hands and arms when filled but large enough to contain useful amounts of liquid for breakfast table, artwork, etc.
