Egg slicers are one of those items that a higher price paid does not necessarily mean better quality. This a tool we use daily for eggs and soft fruit. This one has been holding up great! It shows no signs of wear or rust over the last two months of use, and the wires still line up beautifully with the base. The key is to slice slowly and carefully on a stable surface. We have enjoyed using it daily since it arrived. Thank you for an affordable price on a great product!
Our three year old loves slicing hard boiled eggs on his own! Only issue is that the egg rolls a bit and the sides get smushed when it's cut. Might be better with smaller eggs? Otherwise works as expected!
I bought this for my 2-year-old to slice mushrooms, and it wasn't sturdy enough to cut them. It broke on our second use.
