This ingenious set will not only eliminate the mess associated with mixing natural peanut butters, it offers the young child an irresistible food preparation activity!
After an adult inserts the chrome-plated mixing rod through the coated-steel lid and screws it on, children can easily turn the crank themselves (and watch the layers combine), then pull the rod out spotlessly clean.
A rubbery nitrile gasket cleans the rod and a polypropylene liner keeps everything inside the jar during mixing. Now there's no reason not to enjoy healthier, all-natural nut butters.
Set includes the standard mixing rod, a 3" lid, and a 2¾" lid (rod will fit both lids). The two lid sizes are included to fit different 16 oz. brands.

Great, I like this product - does what it says. Make sure you order the right size - I accidentally bought stirrer for 26oz jar. As it happens I can use it because occasionally do buy a 26oz jar. Ordering 16oz stirrer too

This is something that we use a lot. We are a natural peanut butter family and this really takes the mess out of stirring the oil and peanut butter together.

It's a great idea, but this product has many major flaws: First: It was supposed to fit in a Kirkland 28oz jar, it doesn't, and it is an inch too long. Second: The stirring arm wobbles around way too much, and this will cause the seal that wipes the peanut butter off to fail quickly. They should have designed a different type of lid grommet to hold the churning arm more securely in place. Third: The stirring agitator does not truly mix the way it needs to.

This product works pretty well. I buy the Kirkland Organic Natural peanut butter (from [@]) and the mixer doesn't sit all the way in the jar (mixer is taller than the jar). That being said it does a great job of getting the peanut butter started. Now I don't have peanut oil on the jar when I do the final mixing. All and all a good buy!
