The Time Line of Life is a wonderful part of an elementary Montessori classroom but we are finding it valuable for home school also. It's accurate, the pictures are attractive, and holds the child's attention. The blank time line and the cut out figures give the child a chance to create the whole story for herself/himself and there are several other pieces available that complement the time line. Worth the cost.

This is a wonderful curriculm for teaching the time line history of life. We use this material when we have a wiggles day and need to move around as it allows for a child to move and learn at the same time. We lay out both timelines and use the cut out shapes to match the time lines for a easier lesson and someday we chooses a time period and make our own books of pictures and research to use this material as a writing lesson. We also like to use our own fossils and dinosaur figures and place them on the time line too. Nice and sturdy with heavy duty lamination I am very pleased with this curriculm.
