Begin classification work with two broad categories such as Living or Non-Living (SC75) whose differences are readily perceived.

This set includes an overview of the characteristics of living plants and animals. The three-part format is perfect for early reading activities, and superb photographs isolate the subject for classification work.

Subjects include: bee, clover, fish, humans, jellyfish, lobster, moss, mushroom, newt, spider, tree, and tulips.

First introduce cards for naming. Then, mix with other sets for sorting. Rounded corners minimize damage. Printed on recycled paper. Control card with label measures 3½" x 4¼". Ages 3 - 6.

This set is included in the Complete Natural World Classification Package (SC86, SC88). Laminated. Please note: 5-mil laminate extends just to edge of each card, not beyond.
