Individual language objects, like "melon" can be used for a variety of language and sound games.
Objects are selected for the kind of word they represent: 3- and 4-letter phonetic words, 2-syllable phonetic words, words with phonogram sounds, or for the beginning sound of the word they represent.
The "melon" is about 1" long made of painted wood. Sold individually. You may receive a whole watermelon, a half melon, or a slice of watermelon.
Design is assorted. Ages 3+.
