Grain Mill Grind grain into flour with this mill from VKP Brands
Perfect for small hyper boys . They find it fun and it tired them out a bit . Our home is not 100 percent montessori but more of a mix of waldorf , Reggio Emilia and some montessori. Today we grinded up some pumpkin seeds for pumpkin cookies. I love that I also got it show how the work they out in lead to an outcome of baking and then eating what they worked for . HIGHLY RECOMMEND also very sturdy and well made product .
Grain Mill Grind grain into flour with this mill from VKP Brands
This machine is a favorite at our preschool after only a few days of use. Even my teenage boys want to use it in the after school hours, just for fun! The mill is made very well and appears quite durable. It clamps on very tightly to the table with no slipping. The fineness of the grind can be easily adjust by turning a nob on the hand crank. We use a coffee scoop for measuring out the right amount of grain for a grinding session (start with one scoop for young beginners) & a thin pastry brush to clean out the hopper & mill disk when done. This was a splurge for our preschool but we can already see that it is a great investment, with lots of possibilities for use & extensions.
