I love these pencils and searched high and low for the best, natural and ergonomic/developmentally supportive pencils for the 3 - 6 age group. Jolly Kinderfest is the best--hands down. They are expensive but worth it. Montessori Services has the best deal with this company, as only specialized art stores typically stock this brand, but MS has the best price.

It's hard to find several, single colored pencils without going to an art store. I haven't tested the flow and quality of the colors yet. I do love the look. I hope they are as sturdy as they appear. Rating based on appearance only.
