Please note: This feeder fit all the 2-liter bottles we tried (including Coca-Cola brand and Pepsi brand). However, the feeder will only fit if all of the cap (including the plastic ring that stays on the bottle when the cap is twisted off) is completely removed. I love it!! I was getting aggravated because I thought I couldn’t find a bottle to fit. Then I googled it and saw you had to remove the plastic ring! After several tries, I bought the sprite 2 liter because there bottle is pretty and removed the plastic ring. So happy it worked!!! I do not know if this is on the instructions but it should be.

Have been using them for over 20 years and the plastic ones are no good, because the red squirrels chewed the bird stands off. I needed the metal ones to replace the ones the bears stole and I couldn't find. All in all the metal ones are preferred because the squirrels can't chew them up.

A pleasure doing business with Montessori Services. The made in the USA bottle feeders are high quality and help me draw all types of small song birds. I've had them torn down by bears and the only damage has been to the soda bottles. I have bought multiple of these for my use and given others as gifts. I tried some copycat plastic versions and they were a waste of money.

I love this product. It is made of sturdy steel construction and because it limits the amount of seed being dispensed, the more aggressive birds can't empty the feeder in one sitting. The price is perfect for a feeding device that lasts for YEARS!!

We have had this for a year now and it is a great feeder. However, it doesn't work on the new size of soda bottles, at least not the ones here in Iowa. Luckily we had an old size bottle so we could use this and it works great but if we hadn't found that bottle we would have been out of luck!!

Buy this bird feeder and it is the last one you will ever have to buy (unless,like me,yours is washed out to sea in a hurricane.) The squirrels try in vain to eat from it and cannot. The two tips offer 2 birds a meal at a time. The birds are not bothered by rodents or any seed loving pests because the bird feeder is designed to hold small birds and unlike house shaped feeders that squirrels and the like just love to attack, they can't balance on this device. Just keep an empty 2 liter soda bottle at the ready, fill the bottle with seed - use a funnel - screw on this bottle feeder and hang it upside down - voila birds feed, none steal.

We live in New England with very low temps and much snow and moisture building up on our bird feeders. In the past I had a plastic soda bottle feeder which constantly allowed the ice and rain to block the seed. This one is metal and works in ALL weather conditions! It is great. The birds are constantly at the feeder and it couldn't be any better. Thanks, Montessori Services!
