I bought it for my 2 year old son. The size was perfect for him but, unfortunately, after he used it only twice, it fell apart. The first time he used it, the wires seemed loose, the second time, the wires were all over the place. Upon inspection the top of the umbrella where the wires connect, there is nothing keeping the wires secured. The wires fit into plastic wedges but if you extend umbrella, they slip out of the wedges. One of the corners where the umbrella folds also came apart and it looks like a small metal circle in center isn't there anymore. A waste of money.

I bought this umbrella for my grandson who is turning 3 yrs. he loves rainbows. he loves it. it is child proof. he plays with it, opens and closes, runs with it and pretends it is raining even indoors and sits unbder it. I am glad i found this child size rainbow umbrella.

I bought this for my son two years ago, but didn't give it to him to use until this year (he's fur now). Up, down, up, down, up, down, broken. I don't guess he used it a half dozen times and at no time was he being hard on it.

i purchased this umbrella for my four-y-o son, and it has been wonderful! my kids can be quite rough on things, but this umbrella has withheld a ton of use so far. i love the vibrant colors and the hook handle is adorable! we get lots of compliments! i think i may end up buying more of these for my other kids.

I love this umbrella! I got one each for my two and four year old daughters. They are easy to open and close and so fun to twirl! My accident-prone and over-dramatic four year old actually did manage to pinch her finger, but it did not leave a mark, so was probably not as bad as her half hour of wailing may have suggested. ;)
