In Sensorial activities, a blindfolded child must rely on taste, touch, smell, or sound; using a blindfold isolates and heightens the sense being explored.
Our blindfold has peek-proof white ruffles around the bottom, a lightweight flannel lining, and a 14" elastic band for a snug fit. Machine washable. 6" x 3½".

After years of teaching in a Montessori classroom and using blindfolds with a velcro connector and/or a scarf to tye around their eyes...I finally found the blindfold that has an elastic band! The children can put it on themselves and it stays on! They are able to be much more indpenendent this way! The elastic band is the way to go for sure!
