I had one of these Jumbo Thermometers which I bought from Montessori Services. I especially like that it works outdoors and goes down to -40 degrees (so can give the temperature in most any environment). It worked great for years, but one day blew off in a storm and was broken (it happens). I bought a replacement from Montessori Services, but the one that arrived has the glass thermometer tube too high up in the slot. The glass tube is directly in front of the hole at the top of the thermometer, so that I cannot hang this on the nail; the glass tube is in the way. Since I threfore have no way to hang this securely outside, I cannot use it.
