Anyone can learn to knit! Little fingers quickly master the rhythm of wrapping, looping, and moving yarn around this classic spool knitter.
The practice builds manual dexterity and rewards the child with a beautiful "snake" of colored yarn.
Carved of solid wood with a four-prong end for beginners and a six-prong end for more experienced knitters. Comes with a small skein of yarn (color will vary) and illustrated step-by-step instructions. 3" high x 1¼" dia. Ages 6+.

Knitting Tower Bamboo knitting spool
I introduced this to Year 3 Primary students and they are loving it. It works the fine motor and after some practice, they can make a nice looking knitted "rope." I had to order a few more because it's become so popular.

Knitting Tower Bamboo knitting spool
Very disapointing. The wood is rough, not even sanded down but worst of all is that it does not function very well for kids to use as a knitting tool. The yarn slips off of the progs.
