I expected these to have glue like the glue on sticky notes. I bought them for my 2 1/2-year-old grandson, and he didn't like licking them. Neither did I! I also found the paper to be quite flimsy, which meant it was easily creased. Also, the chain was quite big, which wasn't as nice to look at as something a bit smaller and narrower.

We are so sorry that you and your grandson didn't enjoy this item. While the ends do need to be moistened, you can use a damp sponge to wet them if licking them is undesirable. We apologize for any misunderstanding.
